Please don’t forget the venerable RigidBot. Since the crash and burn of the original KS company Invent-A-Part, what was left of the company was obtained by Laser Weld Design.

In the intervening time, they have released the upgraded RB2 Regular 10x10x10, which is currently on closeout, with the RB3 Regular 10x10x10 soon to be released.

The entire RB series has a very large following as the Open Source design, using Marlin Software, with published STL’s easily avails itself to upgrades, mods and hacks. If anyone wants to see what can be done with a KS RB1, I would be happy to give my Mod List and post a pic of the current state of The Beast.

Comprehensive,… ill take one of each lol

  3. Fusion3 says

Great list – appreciate your pulling this together.

Can I suggest a change to the type? Currently seems to be:
    – Industrial
    – Home
    and a smattering of Desktop

    Instead something like:
    – Industrial ($10K+)
    – Commercial / Prosumer ($3000-$10000)
    – Consumer (<$3000)

For instance, we at Fusion3 think of ourselves as "Commercial" as we have very few consumer / hobbyist customers. 95% are companies who can't afford industrial and consumer won't work for their needs.

Also, please let me know if you'd like to speak to get any more information for our listing!

    1. Daniel F says

Yes we will certainly look into it. Ill talk to Diana and we might do a static page instead of a post .

Just when I think I have a handle on 3D printing I find out I’ve only touched the surface of it!! I had NO clue of all these other companies! There are so many out there! I’ve saved this page and am going to check them all out this week. Most of them look like they are WAY out of my league (money wise)…I’m guessing they are the ones companies buy- not small time printers like me. But it’s cool to see them all in one place! Thanks!!
