UK based developer of inkjet printing technology Xaar has announced the launch of its newest printhead, The Xaar irix.
The printhead is powered by Imagine X,
The Xaar irix delivers exceptional print quality,
has a user-friendly UI as well as being a robust and highly efficient printhead.
The Irix is available in two variants,
The Core and the Pro
The Irix Core works with print applications using oil or solvent-based inks,
such as Coding & Marking Functional fluids
The Irix pro is for more demanding applications where print quality is paramount, this includes product printing and 3D printing.

Featuring the AcuDrp technology, the Xaar is designed to ensure printhead nozzles are calibrated with accurate drop placement.

The system can deliver both uniform drop speed and volume.
The system measures 37.2 x 11.3 x 40.8mm the print swathe rests at 17mm and the simple fluid and electrical connections make installations possible,

irix offers a maximum firing frequency of up to 8.3kHz.
