The Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle 3D printer has been adopted by Rosti Group.
Rosti Group, a contract manufacturing company, uses Ultimaker 3D printing technology to create fixtures and assembly pieces.
The Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle has been used by the company to speed up product development cycles and assist clients to get their products to market faster.
Rosti is replacing traditional prototyping methods where it can save time,
while also additively manufacturing fixtures and assembly components
that match the strength and quality of those produced with subtractive methods, by incorporating the Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle,
which is supported by a wide materials range and can print fibre-reinforced components with the Print core CC.
As a result, new items are available in consumer markets and product samples are available to clients within 72 hours.
“By eliminating traditional manufacturing methods from the development of assembly and production fixtures,
the Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle allows us to print high-strength
and high-temperature materials
at a fraction of the cost of previous methods,
and in a matter of days rather than weeks,” said Scott Dickson,
Rosti Suzhou’s NPD Manager.
“Of course, Ultimaker is about rapid, first-time-right 3D prints of great visual and functional quality,”
said Jürgen von Hollen, CEO of Ultimaker.
“However, I become particularly delighted when I learn how our technology
serves as a disruptive business solution for renowned firms like Rosti.”
“To stay competitive, the corporation realized it needed to make a rapid step shift.”
What motivates our teams and partners around the world is seeing
how the flexibility and long-term value produced from our 3D printing platform and ecosystem can have a strategic
business impact in such a short amount of time.”
