Metal 3D printing startup Mrltio has signed a deal with Bharat Fritz Werner Ltd. (BFW) to b deliver its laser metal deposition technology to the Indian market.
Disclosing this at Formnext where the company is displaying its wide array of metal 3D printing solutions,
including new materials, Melito says the Partnership with India’s largest CNC machine tool producer
will play a pivotal role in the development of its AM products and hybrid manufacturing solutions across the region.
An all important partnership with Meltio
According to Ángel Llavero López de Villalta, CEO at Meltio: ” The world is changing and this strategic partnership between BFW’s strong position in India (one of the worlds’ most crucial markets)
and Meltio’s innovative technology will create a state of the art solutions for the next industrial revolution 4.0.”
Meltio’s printing process utilises standard welding fire feedstock to develop industrial metal parts for a wide array of industries.
Its technology can be used using
Meltio’s Meltio 450 printer
or through robotic and CNC integration for a hybrid manufacturing process.
BFW is in charge of integrating Meltio’s technology into BFW machines for
the Indian manufacturing sector and cites defence, mining aerospace
and automative as key sectors.
