So my printer is eating x-axis bearings and rods, I have changed them a couple of times now and bought both cheap and expensive versions but no difference in lifetime. So does anyone have any recommendations on a better bearing?

My printer is a Geeetech i3 ProB and the bearings are LM8LUU.

    Italo Soares

They are supposed to last for years, maybe there is something wrong with your carriage, its forcing it in a way it should’nt.

its making any noise when it moves?

Simply on they happen to the transverse load. The Design not yet perfect.

Definitely something wrong. Cheap bearings may not last long, but quality bearings and hardened steel rods should last years. Something putting excess load on them? Or force in a direction there should not be any?
