I am looking for advice/help regarding a problem I experienced with 3D printing a large object.
A freelancer helped me model a character head in Zbrush. It was modeled in Orthographic view and looked exactly the way I wanted it in Orthographic view.
However, when I sent the model off for printing, the printed head (life-size) appeared distorted. The lower part of the character’s face appeared stretched, resulting in a sharper-looking chin than what I saw on my monitor. The position of the nose and mouth appeared lower as well. Basically, the resulting print looked somewhat distored compared to the model I saw on my screen.
Does anyone have any idea about this problem I am experiencing and how to correct this?
