Fixing the Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus 3D Printer (public service announcement )
Fixing the Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus 3D Printer
I tend to be a bit more paranoid than most when it comes to 3dprinter and what can go wrong, only because I built most of mine instead of buying a ready to print machine. So when I saw this Wanhao Duplicator I3, I had to spread the word. My printers all have this done because I don’t trust Chinese parts but I did it because I didn’t want to get shocked. When you recycle electronics often enough you will catch a jolt even if you’re careful. If you’re careful it won’t kill you, though. This is the sort of short that can get real dangerous real quickly. The credit for this goes to CHEP 3D Printing, so onto the video.
I also wanted to add a few safety tips as well.
3d Printing Safety tips.
- Buy a smoke detector and install it in the room with your printers .
- buy an insulated floor mat.
- Perform maintenance checks at least once a month And log it.
I know this is a bit tedious but it could save your life. These machines don’t seem it but they are a fire and electrical hazard. If this was helpful please go to his youtube channel and like the video. Goodluck and safe printing guys.
