EOS is partnering with Metalpine to design sustainable metal powders after acquiring a stake in the company.
The Austrian startup which has broad experience in the production of metallic products has designed an atomisation technology specifically created for 3D printing powders.
By teaming up with EOS and adopting the company’s process, material and system development and expertise, the company is positive that it will provide sustainable and economically effective powder products.
Most of the development and design will take place at Metalpine’s recently opened production centre in Graz,
which is updated to meet the highest standards in terms of operational efficiency and eco-friendliness.
While also ensuring efficient scaling.
The common goal of both partners is to take advantage of this potential to expand the application
capabilities of 3D printing.
